For many years, I have focused on providing patients with the best possible treatment, prioritizing their comfort and well-being above all else.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy the freedom of motorcycle riding, find relaxation in cooking, and have a keen interest in learning languages. I am also blessed with a son and two wonderful grandsons.

MR MO HAFEZ
Mr. Mohamed Hafez is a fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive experience in managing a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions. He holds several distinguished qualifications, including fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons (England) and the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, as well as a master’s degree in Orthopaedic Surgery.
He also holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of Sheffield, a leading Russell Group institution, where his work focused on clinical outcomes and service evaluation.
In addition to his clinical role, Mr. Hafez maintains an active interest in research and continues to contribute to academic work and quality improvement projects. He is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and brings this approach to the Community Surgery Scheme to support improved access to orthopaedic services.

MR THAJAMMUL MOIN
Thajammul Moin is a General Surgeon working within both the NHS and private sector hospitals. His clinical practice includes hernia, gall bladder, and anti-reflux surgeries, as well as upper and lower GI endoscopy and a range of minor procedures.
He has a special interest in hernia surgery, including hernia repair under local anaesthesia, offering patient-centred, minimally invasive care.

DR CHRIS HYDE
I am a calm and compassionate professional who qualified in medicine at Leicester in 2001.

My early career included surgical roles both locally and in New Zealand, followed by the completion of my GP training in Lincoln.
I have many years’ of experience as a GP and supporting the local community by providing minor surgery services.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, cycling and exploring the outdoors in my VW Campervan.

MR FARRUKH BAJWA
I am a highly experienced and compassionate Consultant Surgeon with a specialist focus on keyhole surgery of upper and lower gastrointestinal conditions. My clinical interests include complex abdominal hernias as well as gall bladder surgery and hiatus hernia repair,

Known for my clear communication and compassionate approach, I always aim to ensure my patients feel supported and well-informed throughout their care and have previously received public recognition for outstanding service by Peterborough & Stamford NHS Foundation Trust (now NWAFT).

Outside my surgical work, I particularly enjoy playing golf and travelling.

MS PANAGIOTA LIOLIOU
I am a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with a special interest in skin cancer and reconstructive procedures. I work full-time in the NHS and also supports community-based surgical services, where I run regular face-to-face clinics and local anaesthetic operating lists for skin cancer as well as a range of benign conditions, providing accessible, high-quality care closer to patients’ homes.
I am passionate about clinical excellence, patient safety, and improving access to care through collaborative, high-quality service delivery. Known for my precise surgical technique and sound clinical judgement, I take pride in delivering safe, effective outcomes tailored to each patient’s needs. I bring a thoughtful, meticulous approach to every aspect of her work and is committed to lifelong learning and compassionate care.

MR GEORGE SETTAS
I started my training in Ophthalmology at the University Hospital of Heraklion under the guidance of Prof. Pallikaris, who performed the first LASIK procedure in 1989.
Having relocated to the UK in 2004, I trained at the Wolverhampton Eye Infirmary and at the Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust first as SHO and then as Registrar. I then went on to attend a Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, followed by a clinical Fellowship in Corneal Laser Refractive Surgery.
I maintain a strong interest in Cataract and Refractive Surgery and have performed to date more than 15000 LASIK and LASEK procedures, in excess of 8000 Refractive Lens Procedures and over 25000 cataract surgeries.
I am a Member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and several international Ophthalmology Societies and am proud of maintaining one of the lowest surgery complication rates in the world.
